    If you’ve been looking for a valuable resource for home health and hospice HR professionals to collaborate and learn new skills, this is it! Led by former Vice President of Human Resources for Mass General Brigham Home Care, participants of the HR Home Health and Hospice Roundtable will share ideas, discuss challenges, and find solutions. Each session will target a specific topic area determined by a group survey and provide guidance and support to help participants not just do their job well, but also provide them with the tools to excel as an HR professional.

    Annual membership includes:
    • Bi-monthly topic specific virtual HR Roundtables sessions with discussions on relevant topics that impact the workplace, including staffing, retention, operations and more.
    • Access to recordings of all sessions.
    • Two 1:1 agency consultation meetings to discuss agency specific topics in a confidential environment.
    • Discounted consulting support to help with salary analysis, additional coaching and mentoring, interim support and more.

    • January: Employee engagement and retention: Human resource best practice strategies for better outcomes.
    • March: Talent acquisition and recruitment: Where to find talent and the best recruitment strategies
    • May: Importance of human resources in operations: eliminating agency siloes for greater organization success
    • July: Human Resources role in employee communications.
    • September: Member vote. Vote on a topic that is most critical to your organization’s success. Topics include pay and benefits, human resource’s role in building compliance, re-evaluating your employee handbook and more.

    Trainer and Facilitator

    Ann Marie O’Connell is the former Vice President of Human Resources for the oldest and one of the largest home care organizations in the country, VNA of Boston. She was fortunate to work with great leaders and developed her skills, particularly in labor relations. After a merger of Boston VNA with VNA CareNetwork, Ann Marie moved to the Mass General Brigham Home Care organization where she worked with both HR and Home Care leaders to lead that organization through many challenges including developing a hospital at home program, transitioning the private duty home care business to an outside organization, and supporting staff through the COVID pandemic. She now is a Senior Consultant at BerryDunn and works to help home health and hospice agencies improve their HR processes and coach HR staff.

    Cost to participate: $599 per site/CCN. Limited to 20 agencies.

    This is sold as an annual subscription with auto-renewal after one year. Agencies may cancel their renewal at any point prior to the next renewal terms.
