Prepare Your Staff for Success in Home-Based Care

The Home Health Orientation Series is an engaging, expert-led training designed for new and transitioning staff entering the dynamic field of home health. Developed by leading consultants at BerryDunn, this series offers real-world insights, regulatory clarity, and foundational knowledge to help your team deliver compliant, high-quality care from day one.

    Overview of Home Health
Presented by Lindsay Doak, Director of Education, BerryDunn
Gain a solid understanding of what home health is—and what it isn’t. Learn who qualifies for services, how reimbursement works, the basics of Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP), and how quality outcomes are measured.

    Working in Home Health
Presented by Keren Diamond, Senior Consultant, BerryDunn
Home health is a unique setting requiring independence, adaptability, and strong communication. This session explores how home-based care differs from facility work, the challenges staff may face, and the many personal and professional rewards it offers.

    Home Health Finances and PDGM
Presented by Sara King, Senior Consultant, BerryDunn
Reimbursement doesn't have to be a mystery. Understand how the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) works and why it matters to clinical and administrative staff alike.

    OASIS and Outcomes
OASIS can be overwhelming—especially for new hires. This module explains what OASIS is, why it matters for care planning and quality, and how to complete it accurately and efficiently.

    Home Health Documentation
"If it’s not documented, it didn’t happen." Learn how to capture medical necessity, support billing, and ensure defensible, patient-centered documentation that reflects the true scope of care delivered.

    Home Health Rules and Regulations
Regulatory compliance is foundational. We break down the Conditions of Participation (CoPs) into digestible insights so your team can understand and apply the key rules governing home health operations.

Give your staff the tools they need to thrive in one of healthcare’s most rewarding and complex environments. The Home Health Orientation Series is your go-to solution for confident, compliant onboarding.
